Hi there! Upholstery here is not cheap… the entire day bed was about $950 if I recall, not including the fabric.

Hi Pam! I’m so sorry for the delay getting back to you! The mattress is essentially the cushion. I had a duvet made from the same fabric as the day bed, but the mattress sits down about 1.5″ below the front lip of the daybed if that makes sense. I never did a reveal video of the daybed, but there should be a reveal on YouTube of the actual guest room and then there’s also a reveal post of the daybed on the blog!
